Several awards are available annually.  Nominations should be sent to the NAPEG Office for consideration by the Nominating Committee and Council.

Professional Award of Merit:  This award is given to recognize and promote excellence in applied engineering, geology and geophysics carried out in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.  Most years there have been two awards in this category - one for engineering and one for geosciences.

Award for Environmental Excellence:  The purpose of this award is to recognize engineers, geologists and geophysicists and concerned persons who have applied environmental excellence in engineering, geology or geophysics to work undertaken within the Northwest Territories or Nunavut.
