All engineers, geoscientists and firms practicing engineering and/or geoscience in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (NT/NU) are required to be licensed by NAPEG in adherence to the Acts of the NT/NU. Follow the steps below to apply for a Permit to Practice with NAPEG.
Step 1: Determine Your Eligibility

To become a Permit Holder, the firm must have at least one person registered to assume responsibility for the Permit. In most cases, there will need to be several individuals registered to assume responsibility for various disciplines. Please note that a copy of the Certificate of Incorporation or equivalent documentation should accompany all Permit application.
Step 2: Review Fees
FEES AND PERMIT STAMPS
The application fee, annual dues and Permit stamp fee must be submitted with your completed application. Application fees are non-refundable.
