The PIEVC Protocol Course will be offered online from January 20, 2021 to February 17, 2021.The Protocol is a practical tool and process that systematically assesses the risks of extreme weather and future climate on public infrastructure.     Successful completion of this course will be recognized by the Climate Risk Institute as meeting one of the requirements of the Infrastructure Resilience Professional (IRP) designation.   • Climate Change and Infrastructure Risk Assessment – The PIEVC Protocol

    This online training provides participants with information about, and practice with the PIEVC Protocol, a practical tool and process that supports the systematic assessment of the risks of extreme weather and future climate in relation to public infrastructure. Developed by Engineers Canada in partnership with Natural Resources Canada, the Protocol is a structured procedure using standard risk assessment processes to assess and fully document the vulnerability of infrastructure to the impacts of current and future climate at a screening level, and related risks.
