Elections

This is to notify all NAPEG Members that a firm called ClearPicture Corporation once again has been contracted by NAPEG to conduct our online voting process for the 2020 NAPEG Elections. Eligible Members will receive an email from ClearPicture Corporation on NAPEG’s behalf on February 10, 2020.

Members who are in good standing are eligible to vote. To be in good standing, the 2020 renewal must be complete and 2020 Annual Dues paid. If you have not yet completed your 2020 renewal or have not paid your 2020 Annual Dues, you can do so through our Member Portal.

The following Council Positions will change in March:

President; Justin Hazenberg, P.Eng. Acclaimed as President for 2020-2022 (after the AGM on March 11, 2020)

1st Vice President; 2nd Vice President;

Two Councillors (three-year term);

One Councillor (two-year term);

One Public (Lay) Member (three-year term).

Lay Members are appointed by Department of Justice. All other Council Members are elected.

Please let your voice be heard and vote.

The results of the election will be announced during the Annual General Meeting at The Explorer Hotel in Yellowknife on March 11, 2020.

Deadline for other nominations January 20, 2020
Ballots to Members (Online) February 10, 2020
Poll closes at noon February 26, 2020
Contractor will communicate results to Executive Director February 28, 2020
Appoint Confirmation Committee February 26, 2020
Confirmation Committee will confirm vote and report to President and/or Executive Director March 2, 2020
The President or Executive Director informs the candidates of the results. March 4, 2020
Council Meeting March 6, 2020
Annual General Meeting March 11, 2020
