Compliance

It is a statutory requirement that professional engineering and professional geoscience only be practiced in the Northwest Territories and/or Nunavut by registrants of the Association.

Only NAPEG registrants are allowed to use the titles or variations of “engineer”, “professional engineer”, “geologist”, “professional geologist”, “geophysicist”, “professional geophysicist” and “geoscientist”,  “professional geoscientist” in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.  Only registrants of the Association may advertise themselves as professional engineers, professional geologists, professional geophysicists and professional geoscientists in the Northwest Territories and/or Nunavut.

NAPEG Acts and Bylaws are the governing legislation.  NAPEG administers the legislation for self-regulation of engineers, geoscientists, and firms practicing engineering and geoscience in both the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
