NAPEG’s 18th Annual Bridge Building Competition

Every year in honor of Engineering and Geoscience Week, NAPEG hosts the Annual Bridge Building Competition. This special week is set aside to encourage and motivate students on the technical innovations and fascinating opportunities that are possible with a career choice in the Engineering and Geoscience fields.

We encourage students from all grades, all-across the Northwest Territories and Nunavut to participate and would love your student’s participation in this years’ competition.

Each school has been sent two bridge building kits. If you have not received a kit yet, please email to request one. We do encourage students to team up and work together for this activity. Please review the Rules and Guidelines before starting.

Entries will be tested on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 in Yellowknife. Students are welcome to come view the testing of their bridges. In the New Year, we will post another notice with more information. We would like all entries into the NAPEG office by Friday, February 22nd, 2019 but we will accept entries up until Friday, March 1st, 2019.

If you want to participant, please submit a filled-out registration form to the NAPEG office by fax: 1-867-873-4058 or email at your earliest convenience.

Should you have any questions, please contact our office at 867-920-4055.

Have fun and thank you.
