To mark the final day of Engineering and Geoscience Week, on Saturday, March 4, 2017 NAPEG’s Bridge Building Competition was held at the Ice Castle in Yellowknife. Students throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut submitted model bridges which were evaluated for strength, quality of construction, and application of engineering principles. Participants can anticipate receiving a Certificate of Participation in the mail in the coming weeks. The winners in each category will receive a Certificate of Achievement. Certificates and / or prizes will be sent to the Team Leaders.
